 I. ĐẶT VẤN ĐỀ
 Ôn tập kiểm tra là một trong những khâu cần thiết trong quá trình dạy và 
học. Theo chương trình GDPT mới 2018, đối với bộ môn Tiếng Anh nói chung và 
Tiếng Anh lớp 8 nói riêng, việc ôn tập cho học sinh kiểm tra cuối học kì là rất quan 
trọng. Nó ảnh hưởng và góp phần quyết định kết quả chất lượng giáo dục của một 
học kì. Phần lớn giáo viên đã có sự cải tiến về nội dung, hình thức và phương pháp 
ôn tập cho học sinh đối với chương trình GDPT mới, đặc biệt là khối lớp 8 mà các 
em đã tiếp cận với chương trình GDPT 2018 từ những năm lớp 6. Bản thân tôi đã 
và đang dạy CT GDPT mới, cho nên cũng có ít kinh nghiệm trong công tác ôn tập 
kiến thức kiểm tra cuối kì cho học sinh. Chính vì lẽ đó hôm nay tôi xin trình bày 
chuyên đề: “Ôn tập kiến thức kiểm tra cuối kì I cho hôc sinh khôi lớp 8.”
 II. NỘI DUNG
 1. Thực trạng
 * Thuận lợi:
 - Được sự quan tâm sâu sát của Ban giám hiệu nhà trường trong việc ôn tập 
cho học sinh.
 - Học sinh đa số các em ý thức tầm quan trọng của môn học.
 - Học sinh được học với trang thiết bị hiện đại (smart TV, phòng bộ môn 
Tiếng Anh) giúp các em cũng cố kiến thức nhanh, không mất nhiều thời gian khi 
ôn tập.
 * Hạn chế:
 Còn một số em chưa có ý thức ôn tập tốt, không chú ý khi giáo viên hướng 
dẫn ôn tập. Ghi chép bài không đầy đủ. 
 2. Giải pháp thực hiện
 - Trước hết, giáo viên dạy khối lớp 8 phải nắm vững nội dung chương trình 
ôn tập cho kiểm tra cuối kỳ 1; nắm vững đặc tả, ma trận đề kiểm tra cuối kì 1, soạn 
ra các dạng bài tập trong đề kiểm tra cho học sinh ôn luyện.
 - Dựa vào khung ma trận, đặc tả đề kiểm tra do SGD gửi về, tôi biên soạn đề 
cương hệ thống lại các kiến thức cơ bản. Biên soạn các đề mẫu cho học sinh làm 
thử. 
 - Giáo viên ôn tập cần bám sát kiến thức kĩ năng trong đặc tả.
 - Nắm bắt số lượng câu và cấp độ từng câu trong đặc tả từ đó định hướng 
được nội dung cần ôn cho học sinh. Ra các dạng bài tập theo kiểu nhận biết, thông 
hiểu và vận dụng thông qua đặc tả ôn tập.
 - Hướng dẫn học sinh kỹ năng làm bài và cách nhận biết các dấu hiệu trong 
khi làm bài, các dạng bài tập trong từng nội dung.
 - Rút kinh nghiệm sau mỗi lần ôn tập cho học sinh từ lớp này qua lớp khác. 
 - Nhận xét kết quả làm bài của học sinh ngay sau khi cho các em làm thử.

 Hiểu được bài đọc có độ dài khoảng 120-160 từ xoay quanh các chủ điểm đã 
học: Free time activities, Ethnic Groups of Viet Nam; Our customs and tradition; 
Life styles. Học sinh trả lời câu hỏi.

 Task 1. Reorder the words or phrases to make the meaningful sentences.

Many people enjoy living in a big city because they think life is more exciting 
there. However, I come from a small village and in my view, there are lots of 
benefits. The main reason I prefer village life is because it’s very quiet, so I always 
feel calm when I’m here. Another reason is that the air is so fresh and clean. We 
have more green spaces and bigger gardens, too. In addition, I think the people 
here are friendlier. Personally, I’m interested in wildlife photography, so the 
countryside is perfect for me.

house, office, and business in Viet Nam has a small altar used to commune with

and gifts. The latter items arc such as votive papers, such as motorbikes, cars, 
houses, etc. After worshipping, people burn the paper gifts called votive papers so 
that the spirits of the gifts can ascend to heaven for the ancestors to use.
 In the past, the income from a plot of land was used to maintain the altar and 
arrange the rituals, but this tradition has now faded away. However, the custom 
that the eldest son will arrange the ceremonial and inherit the family house upon

 A Longevity Celebration
 On the fifth day of Tet, Binh An Village holds a longevity celebration for elderly

 According to tradition, the elderly wear traditional ao dai. They sit at the most 
 honourable place. The village leaders congratulate them. They offer each elder a 
 "longevity flag" and a bunch of flowers. Then, each family takes photographs with 
 their elders. At noon, families hold a home party for their elders. It is customary 
 for the family members to cook for their elders. The traditional dishes served are

 III. KẾT LUẬN
 Để thực hiện có hiệu quả trong công tác ôn tập kiến thức cho học sinh lớp 8 
kiểm tra cuối kì 1, lòng nhiệt huyết, sự tận tâm của GV là điều quan trọng nhất và 
sẽ mang lại kết quả chất lượng đại trà cao. Ngoài ra, giáo viên cũng cần biên soạn 
thêm đề kiểm tra bám sát đặc tả, ma trận và mức độ nhận biệt, thông hiểu, vận 
dụng để từ đó giúp học sinh làm quen các dạng câu hỏi trong đề kiểm tra. 
 Cuối cùng, rất mong quý thầy cô đóng góp ý kiến để chuyên đề được hoàn
