One day , as a farmer was in the field and his buffalo was(0) 
grazing nearby,a tiger(1)................ .The tiger wanted to know 
why the strong buffalo was the servant and the small

called wisdom,but he(4)....... it at home that day. He(5).........

tree with a rope because he didn’t want it to eat the 
buffalo.When he returned, the farmer brought some straw

still has black stripes from the burns to day. * Comprehension questions:
 1. Where was the man?

•The tiger wanted to know why the strong 
 buffalo was the servant and the small man 
 was the master. 4. What did the farmer do before 
 going home? Why ?
He tied a tiger to a tree with a rope 
 because he didn’t want it to eat the 
 buffalo. 5. What did he do when he returned?
• When he returned, he lit the straw 
 to burn the tiger. 6.What does the tiger still 
 have from the burn today? 
Today it still has black stripes (Groupwork)
